Hey.. let me share my doleful story to all of you. It supposedly that his friend is the one who I will like but the situation became opposite. It was happen when I was senior year in high school. Actually, this guy he’s really not my type but he’s really crush ng bayan to many students in our school, let’s named him Seven. I think he’s one of my classmates that would like to know me coz that time it’s my first time to be in regular class coz I always used to be in first section but I’d tranferred to regular ones. Masaya ako, I have so much time to have fun and not to take the study seriously unlike the one that I get used to. It started in kwentuhan moment when there’s a free time, breaktime or when the teacher is out. I don’t know why bakit ako yung lagi niya nilalapitan and there’s so many girls in our room and at the same time where not that close to act like that to me. Then it always happen until.. we became good friends and knew each other best.. we bacame close friends.. and i think best friends too? cause he said to me that I’m the closest girl to him in that time. not only in words but i have a proof too :) he treat me so special and i feel it really.. then it comes to the point na I dont wanna accept the fact na I’ve fallen for him so deeply.. I can’t coz hindi pwede.. there’s so many people to get involve with.. ska madaming masasaktan , pati ako kasali dun .. i know na may mahal siyang iba, and he’s waiting for that girl to come back. he never loses hope waiting for that girl na akala ko mkakalimutan niya, but i found it wrong.. in the end ako pa rin ang natalo.. he’s playing safe.. he deceived me. how foolish i am.. so stupid.. and now I’m the one who’s suffering so much pain. but i’m pretty sure that its all happen for a reason and its one way to become grown up..

The appointment I was on my way to was very important; I was very late and very lost. With my male ego in check, I began to look for a place to ask directions, preferably a gas station. Since I had been crisscrossing the city, my gas gauge was perilously low and time was of the essence.
I spotted the amber glow of light outside the local fire station. What better place to ask directions?
I quickly stepped from my car and crossed the street to the station. All three overhead doors were open and I could see red fire engines with their doors ajar, chrome shining, waiting in anticipation for the bell to ring.
As I stepped inside, the aroma of the station assaulted me. It was the smell of the hoses drying in the tower, the oversized rubber boots, jackets and helmets. These smells, mixed in with the freshly washed floors and polished trucks, created that mysterious scent associated with all fire stations. Slowing down, I took a deep breath, closed my eyes and was transported back to my youth, to the fire station where my father worked for 35 years as head of fire maintenance.
I looked down to the end of the fire station and there it stood, sparkling gold to the sky, the fire pole. One day my dad let me and my older brother Jay slide down the pole, twice. In the corner of the station was the "creeper" used to slide under trucks when repairing them. Dad would say, "Hold on" and he would spin me around until I was dizzy as a drunken sailor. It was better than any Tilt-A-Whirl ride I have ever been on.
Next to the creeper was an old soda machine that had the classic Coca-Cola logo on it. It still dispensed the original green 10-ounce bottles, but they were now 35 cents compared with the 10 cents they were back then. A trip to the soda machine was always the highlight of the visit with Dad to the station, my very own bottle of soda.
When I was 10 years old, I took two of my friends by the station to show off my dad and see if we could weasel some sodas out of him. After showing them around the station, I asked Dad if we could each have a soda before we went home for lunch.
I detected just the slightest hesitation in my father's voice that day, but he said "Sure" and gave us each a dime. We raced the soda machine to see if our bottle had a cap with the illustrious star on the inside.
What a lucky day! My cap had a star. I was only two caps away from sending for my very own Davy Crockett hat.
We all thanked my father and headed home for lunch and a summer afternoon of swimming.
I came home early that day from the lake, and as I walked down the hall I heard my parents talking. Mom seemed upset with Dad, and then I heard my name mentioned: "You should have just said you didn't have the money for sodas. Brian would have understood. That money was for your lunch. The kids have to understand that we don't have any extra money and you need to have your lunch."
My dad, in his usual way, just shrugged it off.
Before my mother knew I had overheard the conversation, I hurried up the stairs to the room I shared with my four brothers.
As I emptied my pockets, the bottle cap that had caused so many problems fell to the floor. I picked it up and was ready to put it with the other seven when I realized how great a sacrifice my father had made for that bottle cap.
That night I made a promise of repayment. Someday I would be able to tell my father that I knew of the sacrifice he made that afternoon and so many other days, and I would never forget him for it.
My father had his first heart attack at the young age of 47. I guess his lifestyle of working three jobs to support the nine of us finally caught up to him. On the evening of my parents' 25th anniversary, surrounded by all his family, the biggest, loudest, strongest of us all showed the first crack in the armor we as children thought would always be impenetrable.
Over the next eight years, my father battled back and forth, suffering another three heart attacks until he ended up with a pacemaker.
One afternoon my dad's old blue Plymouth wagon broke down, and he called me for a ride to take him to the doctor for his annual checkup. As I pulled into the station, I saw my dad outside with all the other firemen crowded around a brand-new pickup truck. It was a deep blue Ford pickup, and it was a beauty. I mentioned to my dad how nice it was, and he commented that someday he would down a truck like that.
We both laughed. This was always his dream - and it always seemed so unattainable.
At this point in my personal life, I was doing quite well in business, as were all my brothers. We offered to buy him a truck, but as he so aptly put it, "If I don't buy it, I won't feel like it's mine."
As my dad stepped out of the doctor's office I figured the gray pasty look on his face was from being poked, prodded and pricked with needles.
"Let's go," was all he said.
As we got into the car, I knew something was wrong. We drove off in silence and I knew Dad would tell me what was wrong in his own way.
I took the long way back to the station. As we drove by our old house, the ball field, lake and corner store, my dad started talking about the past and the memories each place held.
That's when I knew he was dying.
He looked at me and nodded.
I understood.
We stopped at Cabot's Ice Cream and had an ice cream together for the first time alone in 15 years. We talked, really talked that day. He told me how proud he was of all of us and that he wasn't afraid of dying. His fear was that he was going to be away from my mother.
I chuckled at him; never had a man been more in love with a woman than my dad.
He made me promise that day that I would never tell anyone of his impending death. As I agreed to his wishes, I knew that it was one of the toughest secrets I would ever have to keep.
at the time, my wife and I were looking for a new car or truck. My father knew the salesman at Cochituate Motors in Wayland, so I asked him if he would go with me to see what I could get for a trade-in toward a new car or truck.
As we entered the showroom, and I started talking with the salesman, I spotted Dad looking at the most beautiful, fully loaded chocolate-brown metal flake pickup truck he or I had ever seen. I saw my dad run his hand over the truck like a sculptor checking his work.
"Dad, I think I should buy a truck. I want to look at something small that is good on gas mileage."
As the salesman left the showroom to get the dealer plate, I suggested that we take the brown truck out for a ride.
"You can't afford this," he said.
"I know that, and you know that, but the salesman doesn't," I said.
As we pulled out onto Route 27, with my father behind the wheel, we both laughed like a couple of kids at the fast one we had pulled off. He drove for 10 minutes, commenting about how beautifully it rode while I played with all the bells and whistles.
When we returned to the showroom, we took out a small blue Sundowner truck. My dad commented that this was a better truck for commuting because of gas and all the miles I would be driving. I agreed with him and we returned and finalized the deal with the salesman.
I called my dad a few nights later and asked him if he would come with me to pick up the truck. I think he agreed so quickly just to get one final look at "his brown truck," as he called it.
When we pulled into the dealer's yard, there was my little blue Sundowner with a sold sticker on it. Next to it was the brown pickup, all washed and shiny, with a big SOLD sign on the window.
I glanced over at my father and saw the disappointment register on his face as he said, "Someone bought himself a beautiful truck."
I just nodded and said, "Dad, would you go inside and tell the salesman I'll be right in as soon as I park the car?" As my father walked past the brown truck, he ran his hand along it and I could see the look of disappointment pass over him again.
I pulled my car around to the far side of the building and looked out the window at the man who had given up everything for his family. I watched as the salesman sat him down, handed him a set of keys to his truck - the brown one - and explained that it was for him from me and this was our secret.
My dad looked out the window, our eyes met, and we both nodded and laughed at each other.
I was waiting outside my house when my dad pulled up that night. As he stepped out of his truck, I gave him a big hug and a kiss and told him how much I loved him, and reminded him this was our secret.
We went for a drive that evening. Dad said he understood the truck, but what was the significance of the Coca-Cola bottle cap with the star in the center taped to the steering wheel?

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend asked her, "now that you can see the world, will you marry me?" The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him.

Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying..... "Just take care of my eyes dear." i'll always love you forever..

Boy: Baby, we need to talk.
Girl: Ricardo, what do u mean?
Boy: Something has come up...
Girl: What? What's wrong? Is it bad?
Boy: I don't want to hurt you, baby.
Girl: *Thinks* Oh my God, I hope he doesnt break up with me... I love him so much.
Boy: Baby, are you there??
Girl: Yeah, I'm here. What is so important??
Boy: I'm not sure if I should say it..
Girl: Well, you already brought it up, so please just tell me.
Boy: I'm leaving...
Girl: Baby, what are u talking about?? I don't want you to leave me, I love you.
Boy: Not like that, I mean I'm moving far away.
Girl: Why? All of your famliy lives over here.
Boy: Well, my father is sending me away to a boarding school far away.
Girl: I can't believe this.
[FATHER: (Picks up the other phone, interrupts & yells furiously
ERICA!, what did I tell you about talking to boys?!!!... Get off the
damn phone!! (And hangs up).]

Boy: Wow, your father sounds really mad.
Girl: You know how he gets, but anyways, I dont want you to go.
Boy: Would you run away with me?
Girl: Baby, you know I would, I would do anything for you, but I can't... You don't know what would happen if I did. My dad would kill me!
Boy: *Sad* It's okay.. I understand, I guess..
Girl: *Thinking*I can't believe what's going on.
Boy: I need to give you something tonite, because I am leaving on
flight 1-80 in the morning, so I need to see you now.
Girl: Okay, I will sneak out & meet you at the park.
Boy: Okay, I'll meet you there in 20 minutes.
[They meet at a nearby park, they both hug eachother. And he gives
her a note.]
Boy: Here you go, this is for you. I gotta go.
Girl: *Tear* (Begins to cry.)
Boy: Baby, dont cry, you know I love you... But I have to go.
Girl: Okay (Begins to walk away.)
[They both go back home. And Erica begins to read the letter he gave her]
It says...
"Erica,

You probably already know that I'm leaving, I knew this would be better if I wrote a letter explaining the truth about how much I care about you. The truth is, is that I never loved you, I hated you so much, you are my bitch and dont you ever forget that. I never cared about you, and never wanted to talk to you, and be around you. You really have no clue how much I hate you. Now that I'm leaving I thought you should know that I hate you, bitch. You never did the
right thing, and you were never there. I didnt think I could hate someone as much as I hate you. And I never want to see you, for the rest of my life, I will never miss kissing you like before, I never want to cuddle up, how we used to. I will not miss you and that's a promise. You never had my love, and I want you to remember that. Bitch, you keep this letter because this may be the last thing you have from me. Fuck, I hate you so much. I will not talk to you soon bitch... Goodbye.
- Ricardo"
[ Erica begins to cry, she throws the paper in tha garbage & crys for hours ]
... A day passes, she is sad, depressed and she feels so lonely... Then she gets a phone call....
Friend: How are you feeling?
Girl: I just cant believe this happened.. I thought he loved me.
Friend: Oh, about that. Ricardo left me a message. A few days ago. He told me to tell you to look in your jacket pocket or something...
Girl: Umm.. okay.
[She finds a piece of paper in the jacket,
It says:
"Baby I hope you find this before you read my letter. I knew your dad might read it, so I switched a few words...
Hate = Love
Never = Always
Bitch = Baby
Will not= will
.... I hope you didn't take that seriously because I love you with all my heart, and it was so hard to let you go thats why I wanted you to run away with me... -Ricardo"]
Girl: Oh my God! It's a letter.. Ricardo does love me!!, he must of slipped it into my pocket when he hugged me. I can't believe how stupid I am!!

Friend: lol Okay but I g2g... Call me later.
Girl: *happy*okay, bye, I'll be at home waiting for my baby to call me!
... Erica turns the T.V. on......
[Breaking news] "An airplane has crashed. Over 47 young boys died, we are still searching for survivors... This is a tragedy we will never forget, this plane was flight 1-80... it was on its way to an all boys boarding school..." the Reporter says.
[ She turns off the t.v. ... 3 days later, she kills herself, because of the fact that Ricardo was dead & she had nothing to live for...
... A day after that the phone rings. Nobody answers. It was Ricardo, he called to leave a message. "Its Ricardo, I guess you're not home so, I called to let you know that I'm alive, I missed my flight because I had to see you one last time. So, I hope your not worried. I am staying for good

It was a dark night when Julie and Chris are walking by the Bayside Road. It has been a cold night and having only a few vehicles passing through this road made it even colder.
“Sabi ko na sayo! Dapat hinintay natin si Gary doon sa party para may masakyan tayo pauwi. Eh nahihirapan tuloy tayong makahanap ng taxi sa lugar na ‘to. Wala atang dumadaan na taxi dito eh!” complains Julie to his boyfriend. Chris then replies “Jul, it’s getting late na and the party was getting a little boring already. Tapos parang ayaw pa umalis ni Gary eh. Hintay ka lang, may taxi din jan maya-maya.”

Chris then notices a light from afar behind him. He thought to himself that it could finally be a taxi and that they can finally go home. And as he thought, it appeared to be a taxi after all. Chris then hurriedly waves his hand to signal the vehicle to stop and give them a ride. As the taxi was a few feet away from them, Julie cries out “Ngek! May pasahero na Chris! Puno pa nga ang sasakyan eh.” As Chris heard this from his girlfriend, he took a close look to make sure that the public vehicle is indeed occupied and sure enough, what he saw was exactly what Julie told him; the taxi is packed with its passengers. But to the couple’s surprise, the taxi stopped a few meters away from them. “Grabe naman tong driver na to. Puno na nga, magpapasakay pa.” Julie exclaimed. Chris then started to walk towards the vehicle and as he was doing so, he says to his girlfriend, “Baka dito na bababa ang mga pasahero niya.” Julie then responds, “Ano? Eh wala namang bahay dito sa paligid ah. Tingnan mo nga. We’re practically in the middle of nowhere.” As Chris heard this, he looked around and only saw an empty field on one side and a gloomy forest on the other.
Right then and there, Chris thought that things started to get suspicious. He slowly approached the taxi. When he was near enough, he leaned down to take a look inside. To his shock, he saw no one on the passenger seat or on the backseat. There are no passengers in sight. He couldn’t believe it. There was no way both he and his girlfriend were just seeing things. His girlfriend confirmed it twice already. Even though he started to feel light-headed, he struggled to walk further forward to talk to the driver and possibly shed some light on what they’ve seen earlier. As he was about to open the passenger door to speak to the driver, he took a look inside and to his horror, neither driver could be seen inside the vehicle. At this point, Chris already felt like his head had already swollen. It was like he is in a trance due to what he is experiencing at that moment. “Ano daw Chris?! Bababa na ba ang mga pasahero niya?” screamed Julie. Somehow, his girlfriend’s voice snapped Chris out of his shock for a while and he was able to give Julie a look. Yet, Chris couldn’t gather enough strength to speak up. He could only take a deep breath and gulp through his throat. He is already thinking that this is too much for him to handle. Trying to convince himself that all of this are just illusions, he slowly took another look inside the taxi. This time, what he saw was even more horrific. The vehicle is once again filled with people. What’s more bizarre about is that all of them are just looking blankly forward and seemingly oblivious to Chris’ presence. Chris’ eyes started to bulge out in disbelief and as he started to walk backwards, all the people inside the vehicle slowly turned their heads toward Chris. Their eyes are so white; they look like they are glowing. That’s the moment when Chris started to walk anxiously towards his girlfriend. He then grabbed her by the hand and hurriedly walked away from the taxi.
Chris and Julie were only meters away from where the taxi was parked when he decided to look back. The vehicle was no longer there. Now he feels even less safe and all he wants to do is run away but as he turned back to look forward, a very familiar set of headlights pulled over right in front of them. Chris is terrified over the fact that the taxi might have followed them and now he has to confront it again. He can’t bear to see more of those horrific images he has seen earlier. As Chris was about to run towards the opposite direction, he heard something that made him feel safe again, “Chris! Julie! Get in, I’ll take you guys home.” It was Gary’s car, which pulled over after all. Without any hesitations, Chris took his girlfriend and got in the car.

In the car, Chris tried to calm himself down. He can’t wait to get out of that place. “I told you guys na sabay na tayong umuwi. Bakit umalis kayo kaagad?” Gary scolded the couple. “Eh eto naman kasing kaibigan mo, Gar! Gustong-gusto nang umuwi. Kesyo bored na daw siya doon.”, explained Julie. Then Gary said, “Di nyo ba alam na delikado dito?” That statement caught Chris’ attention and he said “Di mo lang alam Gar! Hindi ka maniniwala sa nangyari sakin doon.” Gary looked at his friend with heed and said “Anung sinasabi mo?” “Pare minulto ako doon!” cried Chris. “Ano ano ano?” yelled Julie. Julie was shocked to hear this and could only hold her hand up to cover her mouth and utter the words “Oh my God…” and when she could finally gathered herself back together she screamed “Chris huwag mo’kong takutin ng ganyan! Ayoko ng ganyang biro!” After that, the couple simply heard “I believe you.” Gary claimed to his friend. Even though he was certain with what he saw, Chris understood how the story could be so unbelievable so he stared at Gary and said “Talaga? How could you be sure?” “I know you, man. You don’t have the creativity to make this stuff up!” said Gary with a grin and proceeded to say “Plus you’re not the first one to experience that.” “What do you mean?” asks Chris.

“Some of my classmates back in college covered this story once so I pretty much have an idea of what you are talking about. Malamang ang nakita mo tonight ay ang kinakatakutang ‘Taxi #45 ng Malaya Company.’ About five years ago, nadisgrasya dito mismo sa Bayside Road ang Taxing yun. Ang driver pati na ang apat niyang pasahero, patay nang sumalpok ang sasakyan sa puno. Pagkatpos ng disgrasya, marami nang mga kwentong kumakalat na may mga nakakakita pa rin ng taxing yun. May iba sinasabing nakita nilang bumangga ang taxi pro nawawala naman pag nilapitan. May mga kwento rin na tulad sayo, humihinto ang taxi pag pinara tapos pag sasakay na ang pumara, magpapakita yung mga namatay na pasahero. At meron pa. Chris took a deep breath and said, “ Diyos ko. Julie then buts in, “Chris nahihilo ata ako sa kwento ninyo. Akala ko sa movies lang nagyayari ang mga ganun. Buti na lang hindi ako lumapit doon. Thank God things like those don’t happen to me pero Chris, nilalamig talaga ako ngayon. Nakakapangilabot talaga ang taxing yun.” “Julie, just relax and lean back. It’s gonna be ok. Malapit na tayong makalampas sa Bayside Road. Wala pakong naririning na sightings ng taxi outside this road.” says Gary as he glanced at Julie through the rear view mirror.

As they were exiting the Bayside Road, Gary adds one more story he remembers about the cursed taxi, “May isa pa. Gary glanced at Chris and looks at Julie through the rear view mirror as he continues, “Meron namang mga driver na malalakas ang loob at pinapabayaan na lang daw.

Gary, Chris and Julie finally reached Julie’s house so the couple were dropped there. Gary escorts them to the door and bids them goodbye. Julie has entered the house and Chris shook Gary’s hand and said “Thanks man! Because of the things you’ve said, I kinda feel better about what happened tonight,” Gary smiles and tells Chris “Don’t worry. All three of us shared your ordeal tonight. By the way, nakita ko rin sila ngayong gabi…” Chris’ jaw dropped and whispered “What?!… How?! Where?!” “Relax! I think I handled it pretty well. Just don’t tell Julie about it.” says Gary. Chris then asks, “Ha? Bakit?” Gary responded, “When I saw them, they were already inside.” Chris’ eyes widened and Gary continued “Yes. They were inside my car but just couldn’t scare the hell out of your girlfriend. Kaya alam ko kung bakit siya nilalamig kanina. And don’t worry. You’re here now in her house. You’re safe and secured. We’re kilometers away from the Bayside Road. You have nothing to be scared of anymore.” Chris then felt weakened with terror and sat on the porch steps where he and Gary were standing. Gary glances at his car and tells Chris “Yo I need to go! See you around.” As Gary was walking away, Chris screamed “Whoa, Gar! Ayaw mo mag-stay?” Gary continued walking to his car and just yelled “No! I still have to go back!” Chris quickly replied “Wh.. WHAT? Sa Bayside?! Bakit?! Naloloko ka na ba? Umuwi ka na kaya!” As Gary was entering the car, he looked at Chris with a serious look and said, “Trust me.” As Gary was driving away, Chris found the answer to why his friend needed to go back to the cursed road. A very familiar sight appeared before Chris. At Gary’s backseat, Chris saw that there was one more passenger that was left and looked at Chris with those same blinding, bright eyes. Gary needed to drop off one more passenger.
